Deck Replacement

Sometimes, you just need a new deck. At ASAP Engineer, there is no project too small. Here, a client had an old deck that was suffering from wood rot and sagging members.

ASAP Engineer was commissioned by a contractor to quickly design a new deck system for this client. We were able to provide a complete set of structural drawings to fully replace the old system with a new version that met the latest Florida Building Codes. This deck project was fun, because it featured a second deck above the first one, that could not be supported by any posts. As you can see, we were able to design a system like the origional that tied into the existing floor system of the home. This design doesn't compromise on durability or safety, and is easy to implement in field.
